India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) recently launched the UAE India Business Council-UAE Chapter (UIBC-UC) in Dubai to strengthen economic ties and support their joint mission to raise bilateral trade and investment. Its India Chapter was set-up in 2016. UIBC was launched during the 11th session of the India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting in September 2015 in New Delhi.
UAE minister of state for foreign trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi launched the chapter, UIBC’s India Chapter announced on twitter.
The UAE Chapter will operate under the supervision of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry and has been registered as a legal and financial entity with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
